Me: “I want to go to the corn maze at the farm store, never been to one.”

Kris: “You’ve never been to a corn maze? Are you serious?”

Me: “Um, no, I’m a SoCal girl. Are you serious? We don’t have corn fields out here for the most part, unless you go out to a farm. You’ve been?”

Kris: “Yeah, I grew up in Illinois, land of corn fields.”

Me: “Is it fun?”

Kris: “Yeah, it can be. Want to go?”

Me: “Yes!!!!!”

If you’re a regular reader of this blog you know how much I love the Cal Poly Farm Store and how much I frequent it for fresh produce. It was fun, the weather was so nice yesterday. There is so much going at the farm right now and their pumpkin patch is still out there right now. Makes me want to have another photo session there like I did last year for Trude and her besties. I’m on it!

Trude, Katie, Nikki and Dante, thank you so much for the experience and allowing me to capture you. This tops one of my favorite sessions of the year, by far. Seriously, you gave me such a wonderful gift just by witnessing the special bond you have and getting to play with you on a Sunday afternoon. I laughed and got the warm fuzzies editing your photos all the way, just look at you! I’m so grateful for our friendship and can’t imagine life without my dosage of this trio, love you! Before I cry, can I just say that I highly recommend a BFF photo session for everyone, so much fun. Can’t wait to do one of my own next year.

I love October, I’ve been cooking away soups and fall salads and enjoying the hot, then cold, then hot fall, only in California. Lately I’ve been visiting Cal Poly Pomona’s Farm Store for their great produce and fresh squeezed orange juice and at my last visit I ventured off and walk around the farm to get some yummy photos. Doesn’t this photo make you want to run through the pumpkin patch? I did and it was great, more photos on that soon.
