Nancy Orozco Blog bio picture
  • A lover of the visual arts and the girl who always had a wall of photographs in her bedroom. I'm always giddy with excitement to share these captured moments with friends, family and now my clients. The emotions my photographs evoke is one of life's greatest pleasures for me.

In the last year I have explored my creativity and discovered a great joy for photography. I am both self-taught and also studied at Tri-Community Photo Program in Covina, CA. I shoot in natural light and my style can be best described as photojournalistic. My goal is to capture you and or your families' lifestyle, uniqueness and tell your story. The session time is our play time so fun accessories and snacks are encouraged!

Currently available for photo sessions in LA and Orange County, but I love to travel so please do inquire for pricing outside these areas.

I live in LA with my life partner Kris and enjoy cooking, travel, wine tasting, reading and the beach.

Project 365 + My Weekend

I’m participating in the Project 365 (a photo a day), I had some reservations about it at first. Mostly because I didn’t want the pressure of “having to take a picture”, but now that I’ve started I’m okay with it. I’ve limited my time on the mac for processing so that it doesn’t become a task and it will be interesting to see what I come up with at the end of the year. I always had fun seeing Trude’s 365 from last year, especially the gorgeous shots of flowers she did, just beautiful.

This is one is my favorite from the week since I love sunsets, to check out the rest of the collection you can go here.

I hope you’ve all had a great weekend as much as I did. It was a Friday night in to relax and regroup from the exhausting and long week I had. Saturday I did another maternity shoot that was a lot of fun, Kris came with me for support and protection (he’s the best). Afterwards we did dinner at the Mexican restaurant across from our house (they make handmade tortillas!) and then met up with Trude and Nikki for some bowling. Nikki beat us all three times and it was a nice way to hang out and be a little active. Trude’s kick in the air when she bowls is funny and we got to play with my new Instanx, hopefully my scanner works now and I can upload them.

Will be back later in the week with the maternity shots, have a great week.

Trude - Hooray for the Instax! I’m only a little jealous. ;) So glad you’re joining us on P365, I’m feeling even better about it this year because of the F&B support group. :) There’s a Flickr uploader somewhere on the interwebs that lets you do it straight from Lightroom, if you want to save time that way…
