Nancy Orozco Blog bio picture

A lover of the visual arts and the girl who always had a wall of photographs in her bedroom. I'm always giddy with excitement to share these captured moments with friends, family and now my clients. The emotions my photographs evoke is one of life's greatest pleasures for me.

In the last year I have explored my creativity and discovered a great joy for photography. I am both self-taught and also studied at Tri-Community Photo Program in Covina, CA. I shoot in natural light and my style can be best described as photojournalistic. My goal is to capture you and or your families' lifestyle, uniqueness and tell your story. The session time is our play time so fun accessories and snacks are encouraged!

Currently available for photo sessions in LA and Orange County, but I love to travel so please do inquire for pricing outside these areas.

I live in LA with my life partner Kris and enjoy cooking, travel, wine tasting, reading and the beach.

Anabella Sampson AKA Bells

Meet Anabella, warning… she will melt your heart.
I had the pleasure of capturing the Sampson family this past Sunday in their home as they enjoy every moment of their new baby, Anabella whom they also call Bells. I met Natalie and George back a few years working for a mortgage company and they are completely...

Minestrone Soup with Love

Last night I made the best minestrone soup ever and so I’m blessing you with the recipe for you to enjoy as well!
I’ve always wanted to make it myself and not sure why I didn’t earlier because it was so yummy and easy to make. With all the cooking I’ve done in the last year...

Kooza + Girly Time

My best friend, Annie invited me to come as her date for Kooza. Her work had purchased VIP tickets for the show and I was more than delighted to go for obvious reasons , but mostly for the excitement of getting all gussied up and spending “girly time” as I call it with one...

Veronica & Hugo – Maternity Session

I had the pleasure of photographing and documenting Veronica’s pregnancy last weekend at the San Gabriel Mission and although we had only met once prior at a birthday party that Socorro (my best friend hosted for her baby last summer) we hit it off right away including her husband Hugo. This is their first baby...

Project 365 + My Weekend

I’m participating in the Project 365 (a photo a day), I had some reservations about it at first. Mostly because I didn’t want the pressure of “having to take a picture”, but now that I’ve started I’m okay with it. I’ve limited my time on the mac for processing so that it doesn’t become a...

Yesenia Expecting Alicia

This was my first official maternity session and I enjoyed it every bit. I even got to witness quite a few movements in her belly as Alicia was kicking a lot through out the session (I think she’s ready to come out soon) she is due at the end of the month.
Yesenia is my best...

My Dearest Trude

This is the second time I had the pleasure of photographing Trude and I must say that this could become an addicting habit. I’m already anxious for our spring photo swap, mostly because I love wild flowers and they will be springing everywhere and my guy will be taking photos with me too. Oh and...

Giving

This is our theme for the year in the Orozco-Jasie home.
We have been wanting to do more of this, but never really got serious about it until now. We are not big on resolutions at the beginning of the year. We’re certainly goal-oriented and are both very ambitious, but we work better by monthly or...
